The Business & IP Centre at Exeter and Barnstaple Libraries host a range of events and workshops to suit start-ups, entrepreneurs or businesses looking to learn new skills or research their industry.
Webinars run weekly on a variety of subjects and are a great way to get an overview of a new topic, or a refresher which can help you to look at your business plan in a new light. Whether you’re just starting out or an established business looking to grow, our webinars are useful, inspiring and informative.

WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?
A triple whammy special workshop event: where you i) develop your public speaking skills, ii) boost confidence and iii) network with like-minded people – all at the same time!
The 90 minute, in-person session, aims to give you tips, support and crucially the airtime in which to practice – in a safe environment, either in pairs or in small groups. No more standing around politely waiting for your turn to talk!
This is about enhancing your existing toolkit and being more visible.
Whether it is professional meetings or the odd 10-minute presentation, we all need to be able to speak clearly, comfortably, calmly and concisely. So we stand out in a crowded market.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Meeting Room S1 (in Work:Space, within the library) is accessible for wheelchairs and there are also disabled bathroom facilities.
There is paid for car parking within a 1 minute walk and the train station is approximately 10 minutes walk away.

Clare had a highly successful and accredited career working as a senior compliance manager for a multinational communications provider.
Being recognised for her unique ability to inspire and connect with people Clare won a global coaching award following which she designed and implemented a new coaching culture and leadership standards.
As a mother, leader, and business owner Clare understands the pressure we can place on ourselves and the negative self-belief we can have, she knew she could help people and especially women create a better balance and harness their positive self-belief to truly make an impact on their whole lives.
Clare’s desire to create lasting positive change for others with a clear and easy-to-follow approach led her to create Clarity Coaching by Clare Palmer.
