The Business & IP Centre at Exeter and Barnstaple Libraries host a range of events and workshops to suit start-ups, entrepreneurs or businesses looking to learn new skills or research their industry.
Webinars run weekly on a variety of subjects and are a great way to get an overview of a new topic, or a refresher which can help you to look at your business plan in a new light. Whether you’re just starting out or an established business looking to grow, our webinars are useful, inspiring and informative.
One-to-ones are useful for enquiring about how you can access business information and support, to discuss a problem or question you have in a specific area of your business, or to find out more about Intellectual Property. Find out more information on our 1-to-1s page.
About this Event
Before the days of Google Maps and Sat-Nav systems, we had the fold-out Michellin. If you were lost on the road, you pulled over, opened the map, found where you started and found where your desired destination. By having your entire journey in one view, it allows you to understand where you are, where you need to go and where you may have taken a wrong turn. This view is crucial when developing a new business.
For this 60-minute Zoom session, join the Business Builder team as we explore the Business Model Canvas, a one-page ‘road map’ of your business. Examining the 9 key areas of a business model to examine the best practises for your business, you’ll come away with a sense of where small, medium and large changes could be made to your business model to improve the way you operate for maximum profitability and rapid growth.
Join, Local Enterprise Manager, James Court, from the NatWest Enterprise Team as he guides you through today’s session.
Please send any questions you have prior to the session to bipc@librariesunlimited.org.uk.
