About Liam
Liam is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team at Ashfords LLP having trained at the firm. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2013. Liam advises on business disputes with a focus on contractual disputes including in relation to franchising and restrictive covenants in commercial contracts. Liam also has significant experience in resolving shareholder disputes. Liam advises a range of businesses and individuals from sole traders to government departments, local authorities and limited companies. He has dealt with a broad range of contractual disputes from the terms of sale of a dog through to multi-million pound disputes arising out of business sales. Liam also has experience in a wide variety of procedural applications often leading to the conclusion of legal proceedings, including, applications for the striking out of a claim and seeking summary judgment.
Liam’s aim is to always focus his advice on a pragmatic resolution. Sometimes that may mean seeking a decision from a Court but more often than not, a resolution can be found, often without the need to issue legal proceedings.
