Creativity, Flow, Passion & Purpose @ Exeter Library

February 27, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am

To wrap up this 4-part series, we share many of the everyday practices that creatives and imagineers apply to help them innovate and inspire

Creativity, Flow, Passion and Purpose

Once our basic survival needs are met, and we feel safe, balanced and emotionally stable, inevitably we move on to seeking out other more creative and fulfilling needs. One of these needs is the wish to create and become the best version of ourselves. This entails seeking more passion and purpose in our life. Creativity is just one means which enables us to stretch ourselves and get into our true ‘flow’.

Not dissimilar to the word ‘love’, creativity means different things to us all. To some, creativity shows up as art, cooking or writing. Others interpret their creative instincts as vital tools to assist them with problem-solving. The celebrated educator, Ken Robinson, (who is renowned for having the most ever views for his TED talk), claimed that creativity was as important as literacy and science. He saw that without any creativity, our lives soon become predictable and dull.

To wrap up this 4-part series, we share many of the everyday practices that creatives and imagineers apply to help them innovate and inspire. We’ll be touching on self-coaching mindset tools to:

  • Help You Identify Your Natural Strengths and Passions – because when you unleash your hidden talents, and find out what makes our heart sing-that’s where the magic of your personal needs hangs out.
  • Uncover Your Purpose – We’re all wired to serve. Discovering our purpose gives us true meaning in life. It’s what makes us feel alive.
  • Unleash Creativity – We can’t teach creativity, but we can coach you on how to tap into the most underused resource we possess.
