The Business & IP Centre at Exeter and Barnstaple Libraries host a range of events and workshops to suit start-ups, entrepreneurs or businesses looking to learn new skills or research their industry.
Webinars run weekly on a variety of subjects and are a great way to get an overview of a new topic, or a refresher which can help you to look at your business plan in a new light. Whether you’re just starting out or an established business looking to grow, our webinars are useful, inspiring and informative.
One-to-ones are useful for enquiring about how you can access business information and support, to discuss a problem or question you have in a specific area of your business, or to find out more about Intellectual Property. Find out more information on our 1-to-1s page.
In today’s next-day delivery culture, clients expect high-quality services delivered in a time-efficient manner. Meeting the customer’s expectations and delivering services on time is a priority for every business.
However, this is a lot easier said than done! Consistent problems with on-time delivery can cause issues that can affect all areas of your business and can quickly become a difficult habit to change. A ‘routine’ of accepting that poor on-time delivery is ‘okay’ can damage customer relationships and impact future sales.
In this workshop, James White will help avoid these potential problems and support you to build processes and structures that allow you to deliver your product or service consistently to meet new customer demands.
What is Business to Boardroom?
Business to Boardroom is a FREE 10-week course designed for businesses with a turnover of between £50k and £500k that are looking to expand their growth.
About the Host
James White is the founder of The Small Business Academy, and helped over 120 businesses in the last 12 months alone. He works directly with a range of clients over several industries, helping them to build their sales structures, skills, and knowledge to grow and scale their companies.
Coming from a successful career as a Sales and Marketing Director for international computer networking firms, James delivered results and grew relationships which gave him a six-figure salary and multi-million-pound budget responsibility before the age of 30.
After a major life event and disillusionment of corporate life, James decided to embark on his own journey as a small business owner in 2005. He grew a subscription-based software business without any major capital investment. After building this business to an impressive scale of just under one million pounds of recurring revenue, he decided to focus on his passion of training and mentoring.
