The Business & IP Centre at Exeter and Barnstaple Libraries host a range of events and workshops to suit start-ups, entrepreneurs or businesses looking to learn new skills or research their industry.
Webinars run weekly on a variety of subjects and are a great way to get an overview of a new topic, or a refresher which can help you to look at your business plan in a new light. Whether you’re just starting out or an established business looking to grow, our webinars are useful, inspiring and informative.
One-to-ones are useful for enquiring about how you can access business information and support, to discuss a problem or question you have in a specific area of your business, or to find out more about Intellectual Property. Find out more information on our 1-to-1s page.
Expert biography:
Angie Taffs is a SFEDI qualified business advisor who works to support the start-up and growth of small businesses. She has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, and communication and has worked with literally hundreds of businesses over the years in dozens of industries — from creatives and lifestyle industries through to high tech and manufacturers.
She has previously worked as Senior Business Advisor for the European funded Superfast Business Program and the Government Start Up Loans program. She now spends her time running her own business consultancy alongside being a director of Seahorse Creative Marketing Agency.
She supports local businesses with a variety of online and offline workshops and one to one support. She is also a director of Bideford Bay Chamber of Commerce and a voluntary advisor supporting events with business students at Petroc.

To book a timeslot for your 1-to-1 with Angie, please register. The BIPC team will then send you a pre-session questionnaire, check your eligibility, and put you in touch with Angie to arrange a suitable time.
