Welcome to the first Teign Talks, a networking event for anyone working in and around Teignbridge, sponsored by Teignbridge Council and organised by Libraries Unlimited. Your host is Lesley Anderson, a marketing consultant in Teignmouth who works with businesses across the South West to build their brands and grow their businesses. If you’d like to meet more business professionals in the area, and make more connections with potential clients and suppliers, then this is the place for you!

We’ll be putting on free tea and coffee on arrival, and mid-way through the event.

If you’re new to networking, or you’d like to get better at networking, we’re putting on a free session as part of this event, to give you some practical tips on networking. And once you’ve done the session, there’s still plenty of time to join the main group and put your skills into practice.

This will be taking place in Meeting Rooms S1 and S5. The main presentation will be held in Meeting Room S1, with S5 reserved as a breakout room.

10:30am – Optional Session: Intro to networking

A free 20-minute session for new or nervous networkers to give you some tips and help you to get the most from events. There’s no pressure to do this session so you’re free to stay in the main room and carry on meeting people. Once the session ends, we’ll be rejoining the main group.

12pm – Thank you’s and Goodbyes
