About Stacey Sheppard
Stacey Sheppard is a freelance writer and multi-award-winning interior design blogger. She started her blog, The Design Sheppard, in 2009 and it is has ranked as one of the top interior design blogs in the UK every year since 2012.
Stacey has written for various print and online publications including Livingetc.com, Warehouse Home, Devon Home, Taste Buds, Designer Kitchen & Bathroom magazine and Startups magazine amongst others. She has appeared on panels for industry events, judged industry awards and featured on national TV as an interiors expert.
Working as a journalist and freelance writer in the print and digital media industry for the past 15 years, Stacey has helped countless brands to tell their story in the media and therefore has gained enormous insight into how a strong brand identity can help businesses to stand out and attract their ideal customers.
In early 2020 Stacey opened, The Tribe, a small boutique coworking space for female entrepreneurs in Totnes. Having found that working from home can be a lonely and isolating experience and knowing many female entrepreneurs in a similar situation locally, Stacey decided to set up a dedicated space to allow women in business to come together in a supportive and uplifting environment that fosters connection and collaboration.
In 2021, The Tribe won two business awards and Stacey was also a finalist in the Women in Business Awards.
