Chris is a hugely experienced Product Design Consultant with over thirty-five years in design consultancy, delivering over a thousand products, manufactured in their millions globally. He founded Hillside Product Design in 2003, having relocated to Teignmouth, Devon with his family after a career in the London area. There is a good chance you will have used, seen or owned one of the products he has innovated. These can be found in the home, workplace, festivals, aerospace and agricultural environments, to name but a few.
Chris has a passion for product design that has been constantly invigorated by seeing the opportunities that technology offers him, and others, to address big challenges in all our lives. His motto is “let’s create something great” and now more than ever that needs a wider appreciation of the world around us and how we fit into that world. Chris is at the leading edge of the movement for responsible design and his beliefs about the values of repair, re-purposing and recycling are integral to the ethos of his business.
