This session is all of the things I now know, that I wish I had known then; taking the fear out of finances. If business finance is something new to you (and if it isn’t), it can be one of the most daunting parts of starting and running your business. Yes, there is a lot of training and support available, but personally I needed something a bit different to build my confidence in this area. When I was starting out I attended a lot of free business finance workshops and support sessions, but they often seemed to be starting in a place I hadn’t yet reached. I wasn’t confident that I could apply the knowledge they gave me, sometimes I didn’t really understand what they were saying or how it applied to me and my business, and, if I’m being honest, half the time I left those sessions feeling like I was failing because I just hadn’t got my head around this part of my business yet. Business finances used to scare and worry me. They used to make me feel like I “wasn’t really a business owner”, even after I was making sales and delivering results for my customers.

Feedback is so valuable in growing your business and enhancing it, yet often it’s overlooked unless it is harming the business. In this workshop, Clare will be looking at how to capture feedback and why feedback is valuable. You will also learn: How can you use it to promote what you do. How can you use it to enhance what you deliver. How to deal with negative feedback. Clare will help you plan how to capture feedback, look at how you will review and categorise it and how you can start to use it to positively impact your views and actions within your business.
