What’s On In October

A Successful First Month for Boost Your Start-Up!

Our Boost Your Start-Up course with James Court launched in the middle of September to success! We had a full house of visitors at James Court’s first workshop, leading to a hugely insightful day for those who came, which continued on through the rest of the month’s workshops and webinars.

Entrepreneur Becki Higgins said:

‘Really enjoyed the first session this morning and it was so nice to walk in and find so many familiar faces! I just adore being surrounded by so much positive energy, so many amazing brains to soak up and learn from, always leaves me freshly motivated and raring to go.’

There’s so much to look forward to throughout October, so we encourage you to peruse the rest of our Boost Your Start-Up events, visit our website for the full calendar of events, and get your tickets via Eventbrite.

Save the Date! Your Invitation to Eat, Meet, XMAS Greet!

We’re inviting you to a special evening at our Eat, Meet, XMAS Greet held at Passage House Hotel on the 13th of December!

Whether you’re a sole trader, a start-up, or a limited company, you’re welcome to bring your best Christmas jumpers and jokes to our celebration of Devon’s diverse range of businesses. We’ll be joined by guests from Libraries Unlimited, the Chambers of Commerce, and Teignbridge District Council.

The evening starts at 7PM. You’ll be able to tuck in to a fantastic festive dinner at 8, and throughout the evening, the private bar, compere and in-house DJ will be there to put you in the holiday spirit. One of the highlights of our evening will be a grand auction where participants will have the chance to win exclusive goods and services from visiting businesses.

Tickets are £40 each for regular guests, with a £5 discount for any members of the Library, Chambers, or Teignbridge Council networks. They will run out soon so book now to avoid disappointment!

Announcing our new Advanced Business Boost course!

We’re so fortunate to have James Court as a host for our current Boost Your Start-Up course, so much so that he’ll be returning to host another course from November 4th! The Advanced Business Boost course is designed to improve the already-amazing frameworks that Devon’s businesses have in place.

James will bring his 20+ years of experience in coaching to the table. This, combined with special guest speakers from esteemed Devon businesses, will make our enlightening course a MUST attend for any business who wants to give their sales that extra boost.

You’ll learn everything from financial forecasting, scaling up your operations, and advanced marketing skills, to improving your business model, building the right team, and further developing the leadership skills necessary to make it all come together.

Please keep an eye on our newsletters and socials for more information about the course. For now, sign up to our course’s mailing list to get the latest news on its workshops!
