Get the knowledge and information you need to start, run and grow your business
Access to the right information is vital as you start up and run your business. Through the Business & IP Centre, a wealth of free resources are available to you, which include the largest selection of Business and Research Databases in the South West. Many of these can be accessed from home with your library card, whilst others are available through public computers in Exeter, Barnstaple or Paignton Libraries.
Our online resources provide valuable information and data, at no cost to library members. Whether you’re looking for guidance on starting up, need to know what funding is available, are embarking on a market research project, or investigating companies, emerging trends or technologies in your field, we can help!
You will also find books (of course!), both print and online, and an extensive range of magazines, including The Entrepreneur and The Economist, through our Libby app. Take a look at the details below, or get in touch to learn more.
