Storytelling is an art as old as time, and anyone can learn it. It uses expression, body language, tone control and tempo to draw people into a narrative.
Importantly it does not matter what that narrative is!
The skills translate to public speaking, becoming a better conversationalist, sales pitches, and even to a certain extent phone manner.
Come with me, Gideon Lawrence of the Old Wyvern a storyteller and folklorist of over 20 years’ experience, to learn a selection of skills in an interactive workshop designed to build confidence and break down barriers to communication.
This lively and engaging 90 minute workshop will speak to the you in a friendly, accessible, no ‘fluff’ way. We will allow 30 minutes at the end of the talk for Questions. Gideon will provide visuals/slides to make the content engaging and accessible for multiple-learner types and those with specific learning needs.
