Women in Business: Overcoming Stress

March 14, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

We share several useful mindset tools needed to help support you through those challenging and unpredictable times.

PLEASE NOTE: This session is part of BIPC Devon’s Women in Business course, session are open to Devon-Based business women.

About this session

Whether you are a stay-at-home mum, just launching a new exciting business, or an established professional in any given field, it is perfectly normal to experience high degrees of stress, anxiety and overwhelm at one time or another. The question is never about trying to prevent or avoid stress, it’s really about learning to equip yourself with the resources needed to face adversity and overcome life challenges.

In this hour presentation, I will share many of the practical, evidence-based mindset tools and strategies which have served my clients and helped them to attain a better life balance. As I have learned from their examples, and my own, high expectations and constant striving for success, isn’t sustainable if it comes at the cost of your relationships, or your emotional, physical and mental health.

By the end of the talk you will go away with several effective self-coaching techniques, all aimed at helping you to cope with the ever increasing demands and stresses of modern life. Trying to juggle your busy life is far from easy, but with more self-awareness and insight, together with the right tools, you’ll be able to manage your life without burning yourself out.
