James Court

In his role at NatWest, James works with many local organisations to champion the potential of businesses, and support entrepreneurs as they develop and grow.

As businesses across Devon continue to restart, rebuild and recover, NatWest’s Local Enterprise Manager, James Court will be supporting entrepreneurs to move forward into 2022 and beyond. This may be through one-to-one support or through networking and facilitating connections with his business network/community.

James will be running regular sessions with the BIPC. He will also be supporting new and developing businesses achieve their potential through NatWest’s Business Builder Programme. This digital tool is on hand to provide help with all aspects of getting new businesses off the ground and ready to scale with a wide range of online learning, workshops and events.

As we move deeper into 2021 and beyond, James will also provide specialist support to female entrepreneurs and those in sustainability focused enterprise as part of NatWest’s commitment to supporting women in business, and our commitment to meet the climate challenge.

James has over 21 years’ experience of working with SMEs from start-ups to corporate sized businesses. In 2020 he won the Exeter Living Award for Business Services. Creating the popular #NatWestBoost networking event, helping to support the thriving local business community across Exeter and beyond. He is a regular contributor for GROW Magazine Exeter, writing a monthly column and is passionate about championing entrepreneurship, helping people scale-up their ventures and achieve their potential.

STEP 1

All sessions are currently taking place remotely via Zoom or telephone call. 

Use ‘Select a date’ to pick a time that suits you. If none of the times work for you, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to work with our Experts to find a suitable alternative. 

STEP 2

Register for your ‘ticket’ to the FREE event.

You will be asked to provide some basic contact details. Once you have registered via Eventbrite, we will email you to request further information about you and your business idea.

When you’ve replied to this email, we’ll be able to confirm your booking, and our expert will contact you with details of how to access the meeting.

STEP 3

This meeting will be delivered remotely.

If you have any additional requirements which will help you to access a
1-to-1 session, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.

All 1-to-1 sessions are free to access.

Please note that due to demand, only Devon-based businesses are eligible to book 1-to-1s and there is a limit of one booking per business, per expert.

If you would like to book additional follow-up appointments with an Expert, you are able to go ahead and arrange this on their own terms (this may include payment at the Expert’s usual rate).
